TO MANUFACTURE PIANO PLATES
New Concern Organized in Jamesburg, N. J., to
Engage in General Foundry Work
MATAWAN, N. J., April 15.—A number of local
capitalists have bought a foundry plant at
Jamesburg and will engage in the manufacture
of piano plates and general foundry work. The
company is called the Eastern Steel, Iron and
Foundry Co., and its officers are Harry Bolte,
president; Ira Warne, Jr., vice-president; Thom-
as J. Watts, treasurer; Reseau B. Hulsart, sec-
retary, and William L. Watts, auditor.
The plant at Jamesburg was formerly operated
by the B. Z. Tool Co. and the foundry building
is 65 by 127 feet. An addition 20 by 60 feet
will be built to the foundry. As soon as the
company can obtain the raw material work will
l>e started.
Geo. M. Eggleston, general sales manager of
the Standard Felt Co., has been at the factories
of the company at West Alhambra, Cal., dur-
ing the past week.
