It paints wonderful pictures in the minds of those that hear it.
It brings the ends of the world within the reach of our vision.
It conjures up memories—and makes one forget.
It arouses the finer emotions—gives glimpses of real living.
The AMPICO
Reproducing Piano
Comparison Recitals
The wonders of the AMPICO
REPRODUCING PIANO have been
demonstrated at many famous COM-
PARISON RECITALS, such as the
Godowsky Comparison Recital
Hotel Biltmore, New York
Egyptian Hall, Philadelphia
Volavy Comparison Recital
Wanamaker
Auditorium
Buhlig Comparison Recitals
Ornstein Comparison Recitals
and many others
One that made a deep impression
upon all who heard it was the recital
given to Piano dealers from all parts
of the United States'"* in the Ampico
Recital Hall in the Coliseum, Chicago,
during the Piano Exhibition, in con-
nection with the Piano Merchants'
Convention, held at Chicago, May 19
to May 26, 1917.
Mme. Volavy was seated at a grand
piano and played—in conjunction with
the AMPICO pianos—concertos and
some of the lighter classics. The re-
JOHN
produced playing of the AMPICO was
as beautiful, as musical and as full of
warmth of tone and finish as the hand-
playing of Mme. Volavy, seated at the
other piano.
Students of Music
can find no such teacher as the
AMPICO, which reproduces in reality
the actual hand-playing of Godowsky,
Volavy, Ornstein, Buhlig, Brockway,
Bauer, Gabrilowitsch, Busoni, and other
great pianists.
Words cannot express . the wonders
of the AMPICO. An hour spent in
our Piano Salons listening to the
AMPICO will tell the story better than
it can be written.
You are cordially invited to come
when you will, when it best suits you.
Courteous attendants will be delighted
to have the Rythmodik Artists' music
rolls made by the great masters play
through the AMPICO for you.
Knabe-Ampico Upright, $1,200, $1,300.
