Lively Work in Exploiting "When Yankee
Doodle Learns to Parlez Vou§ Francais" in
That City—Window Displays a Special Feature
The campaign recently commenced in Chi-
cago by the A. J. Stasny Music Co. to feature
their big song hit "When Yankee Doodle Learns
to Parlez Vous Francais" has met with such suc-
cess and so much enthusiasm that A. J. Stasny,
the head of the company, went to Chicago this
week to take part in the campaign, this despite
the fact that his firm is having one of the big-
gest seasons in its history and he is swamped
with work. Besides Will Hart, manager of the
professional department of the company, and
a number of his staff taking part in the cam-
paign there are also several of the sales depart-
ment of the concern. These include Wm. Jerome
Ruger and a force of demonstrators. The fea-
turing of "When Yankee Doodle' Learns to
Parlez Vous Francais" will not be entirely con-
fined to Chicago, as the whole Middle West
will feel the effects of the campaign. In Chi-
cago there will be one "Yankee Doodle Week,"
when all the stores will feature the number in
their windows and will hold demonstrations in
their music departments.
