Hanger Featuring Most Popular Numbers to
Be Issued Each Month
Jos. W. Stern & Co. have just sent out to
the sheet music trade a new hanger featuring
the most popular song numbers from their cata-
log. The hanger will be sent out each month
and all the progressive dealers will be given
stands in which the matter can be inserted, thus
displaying the titles to good advantage. In
the October list the featured numbers are "Brlly
Boy," a fast selling patriotic song; "The Jazz,"
a number which was especially written for the

T. Grant store, Haverhill, Mass., during the
week of October 1, where all this season's hits
from the catalog of J. H. Remick & Co. were
introduced. Roy Camber was in charge of the
demonstrations, and he personally featured a
number of the songs himself. The Grant store
gave their largest window for the display of
Remick products and
a very artistic win-
dow resulted
from
the efforts of the win-
dow trimmers, as the

shows. The demon-
strations were a sue-,
cess in every way and
thousands of copies
of Remick prints were
disposed of. Among
the ^ongs
which
were featured were
the following: "Sailin'

the big novelty fox-trot "Indianola."
LEO FEIST'S LATEST PURCHASE
Leo Feist, Inc., have purchased from the
Thompson Music Publishing Co., of Toronto,
Canada, their song "When We Wind Up the
Watch on the Rhine." This number was and
is very popular with the Canadian soldiers and
should be just as popular with the Americans.
