How Feist Songs Are Regarded by Naval Recruiting Officials
ISSUE FIFTEEN=CENT EDITION
The A. J. Stasny Music Co. has just released
the first number of its new fifteen-cent edition,
such as the majority of publishers are now
placing upon the market. The number is en-
titled "You'll Find a Shamrock in the Garden
of Ev'ry Irishman's Heart." The new song has
a very artistic title page and is the product of
the pens of Louis and Harry Herscher.

At a recent baseball game of the World's
series, held in New York, in which the New
York team won, the crowd was filing out when
some one in the throng recognized Chas. K.
Harris, the well-known composer and publisher,
and immediately started whistling "After the
Ball." Then some one called to Mr. Harris and
said: "Oh Harris, it's after the ball," meaning
after the ball game, which brought the quick
reply from Mr. Harris: "It is more like 'Break
the News to Mother' in Chicago."

NEW STASNY PATRIOTIC SONG
"When We Reach That Old Port Somewhere
in France" is the new song "the A. J. Stasny
Music Co. has just released, and which is becom-
ing quite a favorite with the professional singers
according to all reports. The Stasny organiza-
tion is behind this song and should make it live
up to the present expectations. Anna Chandler
is one of the stars using the number and the
publishers have honored her by placing a re-
production of her photograph on the title page.
STILL ANOTHER PATRIOTIC SONG
William Jerome and Seymour Furth have just
written a new patriotic number entitled "When
the Yanks Are Marching Home." The new
song has the earmarks of what should be quite
a hit. It has enthused the staff of the Wm.
Jerome Publishing Corp., the publishefs, with
the idea that they have a new song to suceed
"Over There," the big Geo. M. Cohan number
from their catalog, which up to this writing has
shown no let-up in its popularity.
