BURGLARS QUALIFY AS J0KESM1THS
Evidently humor still finds a place in England
despite war time seriousness. Cary & Co.,
music publishers and dealers, recently reported
the visit of burglars to their establishment.
The cracksmen ransacked the place and upon
leaving pinned upon the door two carefully se-
lected songs, the titles being in the order named:
"I Go My Way Singing" and "Into the Dawn,"
THEODORE MORSE DOES IT AGAIN
Theodore Morse is one little composer who
cannot rest on his laurels. Not having been sat-
isfied with the numerous' successes in his past
career and with writing one of the best high-
class numbers of recent releases, "Ole Virginny
Days," he seems to have added another winner
to his list in "Love's Lullaby," which he wrote
in conjunction with Dorothy Terris. Both of
these numbers are published and being featured
by the firm of Leo Feist, Inc.

Jack Glogau Declares That I t Is Increasing
Steadily—Some Promising Numbers
Jack Glogau, who a short time ago joined the
professional staff of T. B. Harms & Francis, Day
& Hunter, is very enthusiastic over the increas-
ing demand for high-class numbers and reports
that his hrm is just about to release some inter-
esting new numbers. Among others is "Some-
time You'll Remember" and it is thought to be
a successor to "Sunshine of Your Smile." Mr.
Glogau also reports a brand new version has
been written for "Broken Doll," which will be
an added stimulant to that already popular num-
ber. It is now being featured by such stars as
Nora Bayes, Irene Bordoni and others.
