SHORTAGE OF SUPPLIES
To the Retailer
Owing to the abnormal conditions now prevailing and the
shortage of material it is impossible for us to deliver any goods
within six months from date of order, as orders are filled in suc-
cession.
As the Wholesaler has to depend on us for supplies and we in
turn on the other Makers for our raw material and these again on
others for their material it is evident there is bound to be shortage
all along the line.
There is no advantage in sending your orders to us as we
cannot fill these as promptly as the Wholesalers who have had
their orders in months ahead of yours and, therefore, can fill your
order when they receive goods from us.
All Wholesale Houses are anxious to fill orders but they can-
not help themselves. Under the circumstances they ought to have
your sympathy—not your blame.
