"This Poole Dynachord is a type of player
that has come on the market within the last
few years, and the manufacturers are to be
congratulated on their achievement.
"There is no question but what this type of
player-piano is destined to revolutionize the
player-piano business.
In appearance this
Poole Dynachord follows the lines of the con-
ventional piano case. It does not differ in size
or appearance from the regular piano. It is
unnecessary to point out the enormous value of
an invention of this kind. The infinite pleas-
ure to be derived from being able to hear in
your own home the playing of the celebrated
artists would alone give it a high place in the
list of men's achievements, and in addition it
has a value to the student that can hardly be
overestimated, placing at his command for study,
as it does, the renditions of the master pieces
of music as played by the great artists.
"The Poole Dynachord is really three in-
struments in one: First, there is a reproduc-
tion player driven by electricity, which requires
no personal manipulation. It is only necessary
to set the tempo lever and touch the starting
switch and then enjoy the reproduction of the
playing of your favorite artist. At the conclu-
sion of the piece it automatically rerolls. .
"The second instrument is the regulation
Poole player-piano that has been so favorably
known for many years, with the additional fea-
ture of the electric motor which requires no
foot pumping unless desired by the operator.
"The third instrument is, of course, as a
regular piano played by hand.
