There lives here a body of craftsmen
whose life-work is the perfection of
the piano art.
The head craftsman was Hugo Sohmer—his
descendants now guide this band of art workers.
For forty-four years they have striven and wrought;
their product is the Sohmer Piano, used in seventy-
seven New York theatres, and in more homes in the
Metropolitan District than any other artistic piano.
This seal is the mark of the Sohmer craft.
