gave expression to the following opinion regarding the
latest product of the Vose factory:
" We have just received your new Vose player piano Style N,
and I am frank to say that we have never before seen anything
like it. You certainly have reached nearer to the state of per-
fection in the construction of a player piano than anything that
has come under our observation.
"While you have succeeded in keeping in your player the
marvelous Vose tone, you have also with your perfected player
mechanism made it possible to really play any selection as well
as it could be done by hand. It is indeed a pleasure to sit at this
player and dream out a selection as you would in hand playing.
" The pumping is very easy, no effort at all, and your phras-
ing lever is so nervously sensitive that the selection is absolutely
under the control of the operator at all times. I have already
demonstrated it to a few of my high-class player piano pros-
pects, and I expect to close a cash sale for same within a day
or so. They have all been more than pleased with it, and were
surprised to find that the player piano had reached such a degree
of perfection. You are indeed to be congratulated upon this
newest product of the Vose factory, and I know they will keep
you busy shipping this wonderful instrument."
