THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
J
USTLY proud as we are of having invented and
introduced in 1895 the pioneer player-piano, the
ANGELUS, we are even more proud of our latest
instruments. Our unfaltering ambition and constant
purpose during the past twenty years have been to im-
prove and develop the ANGELUS in every way which
brains, energy and money could effect. We have
labored with infinite pains to make the ANGELUS a
flexible and responsive means for the personal production
of music upon the piano—a means whereby any one
could play the piano artistically. Our efforts have been
crowned with success to such a remarkable degree that
it is now possible by means of the ANGELUS to produce
music which positively cannot be distinguished from that
of an accomplished pianist. This is being demonstrated
daily, both in public and in private. The ANGELUS is
the product of three generations of inventive genius,
mechanical ability and musical talent; and our instru-
ments of today are the results of years of experience and
success, and uplift to an even higher point the reputation
and prestige so carefully built up and fairly won during
the past two decades.
