WASHINGTON, D. C , March 15.—Patent No. 1,-
131,005 was last week granted to William H. Rees,
New York, for a new and improved tab for per-
forated music sheets, which tab is to be attached
to the forward end of the music sheet for the pur-
pose of permitting of grasping the end of the
music sheet without destroying the paper, and also
to permit of readily connecting the forward end
of the music sheet with a winding roller for the
purpose of unwinding the perforated music sheet
from one roller, drawing it over a tracker bar and
winding it upon another roller, which tab is simple
in construction, effective in use and has a swing-
ing pivoted eye which hooks very readily upon and
engage? a prong o* lhe wimting roller.
