HOLIDAY PIANO TRADE IN TWIN CITIES LIKE OLD TIMES.
The day before Christmas was one of bustle and

The big surprise of the week, however, was the
appearance of a representative of the Lawson
Piano Co.. New York. Piano memory hardly fails
to recall the appearance of a traveling man in the
Twin Cities during the holiday season. He had
been down South and took a swing into the North-
west to see how matters are progressing, and he
arrived in time to see things moving.
The Watson-Lister Piano Co., at 18 Eigh:h street,
South, will locate in new quarters about January
15 in the W. A. French block at Eighth street and
Marquette avenue. In the meantime a stock reduc-
tion sale is taking place in the old quarters. The
location is believed to have advantages over the
present one, as Marquette avenue already is the
home of five piano houses, and rapidly is develop-
ing as a retail street.
The holidays were observed as usual and the peo-
ple seemed to have as much money as ever. The
post-offices, the express companies and the other
machinery for the distribution of gifts had to exert
itself to the utmost to keep up with the rush, and
as far as external evidences indicate, the season
was as big as ever.
W. J. Dyer & Bro., among their other sales for
the past week, report the sale of a Fotoplayer to a
motion pic'.ure theater in St. Paul, and a Fotolyre
to another in North Dakota,
HERE will be ample reason for the success of your
moderate priced player business if you are advocating
