THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
TKe Ludwig
Quality Standard
From the foundation of our business it has been our
policy to embody in our pianos such constructive and
musical merits as to enable them to win a distinct
position in the competitive world.
The same policy was adhered to when we com-
menced the manufacture of player-pianos. W e aimed
to start right, and we did start right by producing an
Individual Unit-Valve Player Action which would stand
the test of time, and which would meet the requirements
of the most severely critical—those who desired to pro-
duce music with the same expression as though played
by a master pianist. The sales value of
The Ludwig Player-Piano
has been generously acknowledged by every dealer and
this has been based upon the artistic merits of the Lud-
wig piano, and the wedding to this instrument of the
Unit-Valve Player Action, which for correctness of con-
struction, supreme efficiency in operation, and the per-
fection of every part of its mechanism, has won the
praise of experts.
The past year has been a year of triumph for the Ludwig player-
piano. 1915 opens up another chapter which is bound to add further
lustre to the reputation of both the Ludwig piano and player-piano
which represent a distinct quality standard.
