THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
STYLE "202" CROWN PIANO
Accuracy in Piano Making
T has been said of the great masters
of music that they could detect by
ear a false tone of even so small a
fraction as one one=thousandth of a note.
QTo the average ear this infinitesimal falsity of tone would be
unperceived. fl Yet unless the scale of a piano is designed and
figured with absolute scientific accuracy, so much of this falsity
of tone will result that the general effect will be quite perceptible
even to the average ear. <| The "Crown" Piano is one of the
few made in America in which the scales are figured scientifically
from basic data established after many years of most minute
testing. flThe result of this scientific accuracy is not only rich
but uniform quality of tone.
You should know our proposition.
