SOMETHING NEW!
Our No. 76 Ball Bolt Wrench
This wrench fits all of our regular Ball Bolts. The bolt is simply
laid in the opening of the tool, the slide dropped down and the bolt is then
held securely. To release the bolt simply raise the slide. The usual method
of tightening ball bolts has been to place the bolt in a chuck, but to tighten
and unloosen the sleeve of the chuck takes considerable time—therefore
this No. 76 Wrench is a great time saver.

TESTING AND SUPERVISION.
Combined with Quality of Material Accounts
for Excellence and Popularity of the "Perfec-
tion" and "Crown" Brand of Piano Wire.
One of t'hi* busiest places in the country is the
great piano wire plant of the American Steel &
Wire Co., of Worcester, Mass., and piano men
who have journeyed to that city recently, and vis-
ited this establishment, have been amazed at the
tremendous extent of t'he business done by this
concern. The making of high-grade piano wire
has long been made a specialty of by the Ameri-
can Steel & Wire Co., and the equipment in this
connection is the most complete it is possible to
procure. In carefulness of construction, in the dies
used for drawing, in the method of polishing, in
the quality of steel used, and, more important than
all, in the testing and supervision, the greatest care
is exercised to tlie end that every coil of wire
leaving the mill is absolutely perfect. The testing
process is marvelously accurate, and when the wire
passes final supervision it is safe to say it is per-
fect. The most approved scientific methods have
been adopted in this connection by the American
Steel & Wire Co., whose pro'ducts and special
brands—the "Perfection" and "Crown" piano wire
—have steadily grown in the estimation of piano
manufacturers.
Some of the largest and most important houses
in the country 'have been continuous users of this
product for a long period of years, and the fact
that this wire has given the utmost satisfaction
and withstands every test Of rough and fine tuning
without discovering any flaws further emphasizes
the careful supervisory methods which have made
the American Mcc\ & Wire Co.'s product so highly
spoken of and as satisfactory to the scale draughts-
man as to the factory superintendent and tuner.
