THE: MUSIC TRADE:
PROMINENT IN VAUDEVILLE.
Witmark Numbers Used by Big Acts in Many
Bills in New York This Week.
In the leading vaudeville houses this week Wit-

artists: With the opening of the new Keith's
Union Square Theater, Isabelle D'Armond and
Frank Carter are singing "Lady Angeline." Lyons
& Yosco on the same bill are using "If All My
Dreams Were Made of Gold I'd Buy the World
For You," and their own song, "Margarita."
At the Colonial Theater the Primrose Four
are singing "Lady Angeline," and "If All My
Dreams Were Made of Gold I'd Buy the World
For You."
At the opening of the Hammerstein Roof Gar-
den, Weston, Fields and Carroll made a sweep-
ing success with "Lady Angeline."
At the Orpheum Theater, Brooklyn, Jones and
Deeley using "Lady Angeline," also two of their
own numbers, "I Like a Girl With a Smile Like
You," and "Kaggin' the Old Virginia Reel."

REVIEW
"Mrae. Schumann-Heink will perform like in
previous years the roles of Magdalena in the 'Mas-
tersingers 1 and of Erda, Waltraute and Nome in
the 'Ring of the Nibelung. Besides this famous
artist, whose appearance signifies always a bril-
liant effect on the stage, there will be opportunity
to hear as Hans Sachs in the Mastersingers Fein-
hals and Friedrich Weidemann from the opera at
Vienna.
For tickets and information apply
to the General Agency, the Official Bavarian
Tourist Office, formerly Schenker & Co., Munich,
Promenadeplatz 16, and Chief Railway Station."
That is "some" announcement.
FRED. FISCHER WITH FEIST.
Fred Fischer, the well known composer of
popular music, has joined the staff of songwriters
under contract with Leo Feist, and has already
placed several numbers with that house, which
will be put on the market shortly. The first two
of Mr. -Fischer's songs to be published Under the
Feist imprint are "When I Get You Alone To-
night," and "Billy, Billy, Bounce Your Baby
Doll," and in view of the success of Mr. Fischer's
previous compositions, much is expected of the
new numbers.
