The "Ironclad" Series
N
EVER in the history of the Harmonica Industry has there been an improvement of so great moment
as the new invention on the very latest HOHNER "IRONCLAD" Harmonicas, Nos. 30, 130, 230
and 330. This feature, which by the way, is an exclusive HOHNER creation, has been granted
patents of the strongest nature. It consists of metal strips, heavily nickel plated (and consequently rust-
proof), so arranged and constructed that the wooden partitions of the Harmonica, ordinarily exposed, are
completely incased; thereby preventing the swelling or warping of the wood, and thus prolonging the
life of the instrument to a remarkable extent. The illustrations will give a better idea of this patent.
The prices of the " IRONCLAD " Harmonicas are indeed popular, having been regulated to insure
large profits and immediate sales. This invention means a still greater stimulus in the sales of the
HOHNER product, and it behooves every dealer to place these goods on display at the earliest moment.
No. 3 0 . A revelation in Harmonica making.
This instrument is a reg-
ular Richter model, four inches in length, with 1 0 single holes, 20 reeds mounted on
brass plates, frame in deep mahogany finish, and heavy nickel-plated covers with
flaring back.
Particular attention is called to the metal strip, or ribbon, completely
enclosing the wooden partitions.
Each instrument is packed in a very neat and
serviceable carton having artistic lettering and decorations in silver pressing.

A H O H N E R triumph!
This Harmonica, like Nos. 230 and
330, has its "reed cells protected with metal armor"—a construction heretofore
considered impossible on a double-hole instrument.
The Harp measures 4 5 /$ inches,
has 1 0 double holes, 20 reeds mounted on brass plates, heavy nickel plated covers,
open back, mahogany finished frame and extension ends.
A most elaborate box,
lettered and embossed in gold, accompanies each Harmonica.
Price $4.00 per dozen
No. 130.
No. 2 3 0 . An improved full-concert Harmonica of decided merit. Besides
the patented construction of the reed cells, it is fitted with a wind-saving device,
making it exceptionally easy to blow and increasing the tone power 100 per cent.
Having 4 8 reeds, the additional eight permit a longer range than the regular full-
concert Harp. The frame measures 6]/$ inches in length. Aside from these dis-
tinctive features the number is similar to I 30.
No. 230.
Price $6.00 per dozen
No. 3 3 0 . The first 56-reed, full-concert Harmonica in this market. It has
a compass of four octaves, making it a most desirable instrument for professional
work; patented wind-saving device, doubly enhancing tone production; reed cells
with " I R O N C L A D " covering. It measures 7j4 inches in length and is contained
in the same style box as Nos. 130 and 230.
Price $8.00 per dozen
