& Gustav Luders, will be produced at New Haven,
Conn. The cast is headed by Louise Gunning
and the inimitable Jes^ Dandy, who made such a
hit in "The Prince of Pilsen." .less will be re-

from Cincinnati, and therefore Mr. Luders takes
an especially keen interest in his next appear-

Mr. Luders, will have its first public performance
at Detroit, Mich., on the same night, and Mr.
Luders is equally anxious to see Miss Elsie Janis,
who plays the principal role.
Numerous suggestions have been made to the
talented composer by his friends, but up to the
present time he has not decided which prem-
iere to attend.
Now the great question
a'.ong Broadway is: at which opening will Gustav
Luders be seen, but a little bud whispers in the
ear of our "Man on the Street" that it will be
"Marcelle." By the way, M. Wit mark & Sons

MREVIEWflEARS
THAT it is about time the New York Heial;l
staff—which, of course, includes that of the
Evening Telegram—was given another good
"shake up."
THAT when the Herald published an article
entitled "Woes of the Song Writer: By One of
Them," it was hoped that its Sunday editor had
reached the limit of his irresponsibility.
THAT the Evening Telegram, a newspaper
which is occasionally seen in New York during
the afternoon, is seemingly suffering from the
Herald's "dementia."
THAT on Friday last in this sheet, under the
heading, "How to Make a Guest's Room Com-
fortable and Convenient," appeared an article on
"How to Run a Little Girl's Birthday Party."
THAT we hope there is some truth in the report
that Gordon Bennett is about to have a commis-
sion appointed to test the sanity of his staff.
THAT if the book of "Marcelle" is as good as
its music, Frank Pixley and Gustav Luders
have another "Prince of Pilsen."
THAT "Some Day When Dreams Come True"
(Walter Jacobs), is becoming a really successful
ballad.
