THE:
TRIUMPH FOR BEHR PIANO.
Two pianos within the past few years have
been purchased for use in St. James Methodist
Lecture Hall, but both these instruments proved
thoroughly unsatisfactory. The church officials,
therefore, decided to get only the best that money
could obtain and after consulting Layton Bros.,
144 Peel street, decided to try a Behr Bros,
piano. This instrument was severely tested and
examined by competent judges, but its sweetness
and volume of tone so completely captivated all
who heard it, that it was unanimously resolved
to purchase the same. This sale is a great
triumph for Behr Bros, of New York and also
for Layton Bros., their Montreal representatives,
as most of their piano firms in the city were com-
peting and had sent pianos to the hall on appro-
bation.—Montreal Daily Herald.
J. W. Hemphill has purchased the interest of
N. L. Means in the firm of Mogle & Means, piano
dealers.
