ALBERT IN NEW QUARTERS.
Chas. F. Albert, one of the prominent musi-
cal merchandise dealers of Philadelphia, has re-
moved to larger quarters, 30 and 32 South Six-
teenth street, from his old location at 205 South
Ninth street. Mr. Albert is noted for his fine
violins and supplies, and in future will carry a
greatly enlarged stock in his new building. Some
of his violins are being played by artists of na-
tional prominence.
I. M. Brown, dealer in musical instruments,
etc., Schenectady, N. Y., was numbered among
trade callers during the past week. Mr. Brown
combined business with pleasure, and after
placing orders for fall took in the various points
of interest around the metropolis.

PURCHASE FACTORY IN GERMANY.
The Eugene Block Co., an American house,
have purchased a factory in Germany, at Adorf,
near Markneukirchen, and in the famous violin
making district, and will employ from 500 to
700 men in violin manufacturing. It is said
they are offering nearly double the prevailing
rate of wages.
