COLLEGE SONGS
Nearly Hall a Million Copies Already Sold
This collection, as far-and-away the most widely circulated book
of its kind, has done more to scatter smiles, to brighten dull hours, and
enliven happy ones, than any song book ever published. From East
to West and North to South, even in islands far away, wherever
youth and goodfellowship meet together, its songs are sung.
ISIDORE WITMARK'S RETURN.
Back from Tropical Scenes and Skies Conies
the Popular Publisher.
For some months past Isidore Witmark has
not been in robust health. Like other men who
have succeeded by tireless industry and close,
unyielding application to the affairs of his house,
the hard work involved in his commercial
triumph finally "got on" Mr. Witmark's nerves,
as the saying is, and he was glad to take a long-
needed vacation in search of renewed health and
a greatly refreshed nervous system. These he
has found in and brought back with him from
th West Indies, whither he has returned from a
delightful winter cruise, on the crack Hamburg-
American liner "Prinzessin Victoria Luise," en-
abling him to resume his accustomed place on
Monday at the head and front of the Witmark
organization, in his characteristically happy men-
tal and a greatly invigorated physical frame.
To say that Mr. Witmark, who is a prime fa-
The typical college song is a song of good cheer—a song of
youth and comradery. Here are jolly songs, nonsense songs, convivial
songs, plantation melodies, serenades, songs of rollicking swagger,
and songs of tender sentiment touched with the rosy tint of youth.
The book belongs on every piano, in every house, wherever "good
fellows get together." Without raising the price, low as it is, or taking
out one number, twenty-eight favorites have been added in the new ed-
ition, making an unrivaled collection of one hundred and thirteen songs.
