PROSPECTS FOR IMPORT ORDERS.
Prospects for import orders for next year are
not only bright, but will be the heaviest ever
handled. The West is beginning in a large way,
greatly exceeding any previous aggregate. Trav-
elers state that jobbers and the prominent dis-
tributing houses plan orders without many ifs
and ands, as compared to the conservative hesi-
tating brethren east of the Alleghanies.
