are set forth "more proofs of Hohner liberality,"
showing that although the Hohner products are
continually being improved, no increase is made
in the Hohner prices. The "Hohner News" is
breezy and interesting from beginning to end. It
is certain to be an effective aid in furthering the
Hohner interests.
The illustration represents the latest Hohner
novelty in harmonica construction. It is named
the "Up-to-date Siamese Twins." By this device
quick changes from one key to another can read-
ily be made. Experts have wanted just such a
device for many years. The connecting cover is
curved in the rear so as to form a hollow tube
with which grand tone effects can be obtained by
closing one end with the left hand and keeping
a slight movement over the open end with the
right. The number of the new combination is
1,006-56. All jobbers have samples for exhibits.
By this new contrivance dealers are able to make
two profits where one was made before.

Business with talking machine manufacturers
is spoken of as great, with the possibilities of
the best season ahead in the history of the trade.
The demand for records is unprecedented, and
the laboratories of the respective plants are run-
ning full capacity.
The August and September record bulletin of
the Universal Co. wni be ready for the trade the
first of next week. The company are also busy
on their new three-color catalogue, while their
"barn dance" folder is mentioned by the trade as
the best they ever handled.

Elbridge Johnson, president of the Victor Talk-

trip abroad, Tuesday week. What was accom-
plished in London is still a matter of conjecture,
but the trade is on the qui vive, and much specu-
lation is being indulged in by the trade at large.
