SOME POPULAR BOGART PIANOS.
The Bogart piano, according to reports, is not
only maintaining its reputation for quality, but
is creating new trade wherever introduced. This
instrument, of which a number of styles are
manufactured by E. B. Bogart & Co., 511-513
East 137th street, New York, is the one favored
particularly by dealers desiring a dependable,
modern, high-grade piano, and in New York
State, Pennsylvania and Ohio it is especially
strong. Their style 10, semi-colonial, is the pop-
ular seller, and the reason for its success is due
entirely to the reliable character of its construc-
tion, fine finish and artistic appearance. Letters
from numerous dealers extolling these attributes
have been received by this enterprising firm of
manufacturers. On a recent trip E. B. Bogart
made a number of new agencies, and his record
of sales exceeded every previous high figure.
SHERMAN CLAY PUBLICITY.
"The Little Drummer," that interesting pub-
lication issued by Sherman, Clay & Co., is an
excellent brief for the various pianos and other
specialties which they handle. There is much
to enlighten the prospective purchaser, and the
distribution of this little paper cannot fail to
stimulate the Sherman, Clay & Co. trade. The
pianos represented by this house include the
Steinway, A. B. Chase, Estey, Emerson, Starr,
Heller & Co., Richmond, Woodbury, Gramer,
Thayer and others.
$3,000 ORGAN FOR CATHOLIC CHURCH.
O. A. Smith, general agent for the Moller Pipe
Organ Co., of Hagerstown, Md., has closed a con-
tract for the placing of a $3,000 organ in St.
Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg, Pa.
Samuel Ash & Sons is a recent acquisition, to
the piano stores of Cincinnati, O,
SINGLE COPIES. 10 CENTS.
$2.00 PER YEAR.
THE ANGELUS AND EMERSON.
The Famous Piano Player Will Be Placed
Inside the Weil-Known Boston Piano.
Arrangements have been consummated where-
by the Angelus player, made by the Wilcox &
White Co., will be placed in the interior of the
Emerson piano, made by the Emerson Piano Co.,
Boston. This will give such eminent representa-
tives as John Wanamaker and others throughout
the country, a piano and player combination
which will be very popular.
The demand for the Angelus piano, has ex-
ceeded all expectations, and the Wilcox & White
Co. have more orders on their books now than
they can tupply during the next three months.
They have been working day and night in order
to meet the demand for the Angelus piano, as
well as the Angelus player, but the demand is far
in excess of the supply.
As far as the Angelus piano is concerned, the
Wilcox & White Co. are not yet prepared to fur-
nish the regular trade. Every Angelus piano
which they will turn out for some time to come
is virtually sold.
This is, indeed, a high tribute to the merits of
the Angelus player, which has won a position of
the highest eminence among musicians and
others desirous of securing an artistic interpre-
tation through mechanical means. The expres-
sion device used in the Angelus player is so sensi-
tive in its operation that it may be almost termed
human.
PIANO SALESMAN HARRISON MISSING.
Frank B. Harrison, a traveling salesman for a
piano house with the two Dakotas as his terri-
tory is reported as missing from his home in
Minneapolis, Minn, Some short time ago he ac-
cidentally received a severe wound upon the
head and from time to time since he has suf-
fered from attacks of mental obscurity. In the
intervals his mind is perfect clear. He reached
Minneapolis last week for the purpose of being
treated by specialists, but later disappeared. His
brother has reported his absence to the police.

Treacy Co., has been sending in telegraphic or-
ders as the result of his western trip. One wire
