RICCA AGENTS DOING BIG TRADE.
H. J. Groenevekl, Ricca & Sons ambassa-
dor, has returned from a satisfactory six-
weeks tour in the Ricca interests. "I found
the Ricca agencies doing a lively business,
with hardly an exception," said he. "They
informed me that the 'Ricca' and the 'Cam-
bridge' are both quick sellers, invariably giv-
ing satisfaction. Many of them are keep-
ing a sharp look-out for the Ricca piano
player, which is bound to make a hit. It will
be by all odds the best value in the market
and will mean much to dealers who want to
make money and please their customers at
one and the same time."

GAVE CECILIAN RECITAL
Under the sponsorship of the Knight-
Campbell Music Co., a Cecilian recital was
given at the Woman's Club in Denver, Col.,
last week. The feature of the program was
a demonstration of the adaptability of the
Cecilian by Hubert O. Fox. The program
contained numbers given by Mrs. Mayo
Rhodes, soprano; Mrs. E. E. Wells, sopra-
no ; Harry B. Martin, tenor; W. D. Russell,
baritone, and Mrs. Baker, violin.
Endorsed by highest musical authority.
Josef Hofmann, Marcella Sembrich, Jean de
Reszke, Edouard de Reszke and many other
of note.

VISITING THE COAST.
The Pacific Coast has been entertaining
many, prominent members of the trade dur-
ing the past couple of weeks, the strongest
representation being from Chicago, among
those in evidence being Melville Clark, Chas.
H. Wagener, F. S. Cable, F. W. Teeple,
P. J. Healy, George Griswold, Mr. Post and
H. B. Fischer, New York. Among those ex-
pected this week are E. W. Furbush, Calvin
Whitney, and numerous other traveling men.
LITTLE BITS.
In the Munn piano store, Binghamton,
N. Y., which has been undergoing a thor-
ough renovation, is now being displayed a
very attractive line of instruments including
the famous Mehlin, the Angelus player, and
a choice line of the Munn pianos.
Geo. A. Sharp, of the firm of G. A. Sharp
& Co., Springfield, Mass., has just returned
home after a six months study of piano mak-
ing in the factory of the Poole Piano Co.,
Boston.
The piano store of Oscar Stranburg in
Oil City, Pa., was damaged through a fire
which originated in an adjoining store last
week. The loss, which is a fairly heavy one,
is covered by insurance.
