Girl." It is a winner. Published by Sol

A. H. CHAMBERJYN IS ACTIVE.
A. H. Chamberlyn is making strong bids
for popular players for his production of
''The Defender," which is to be put on at
the Columbia Theatre, Boston, shortly.
One of its principal scenes will be the deck
of a yacht, somewhat reminiscent of "Pin-
afore." The chief parts will be played by
Sandol Milliken, Irene Perry, \V. H. Sloane,
Mayme Kelso, Harry Davenport and Paula
Edwards.
This will make Chamberlyn's second oper-
atic venture at the Hub. He says "Moroc-
co Bound" is prospering, and cites in evi-
dence the fact that it is booked for a return
date there a week hence.
MUSIC TRHDE
ported by the Misses Anna Spiers, Willie
Wilson, Grace Kavalaw and Helen Clare.
Miss Burt scored an instantaneous hit with
"If Time Was Money I'd Be a Millionaire."
The beauty of the costumes was freely com-
mented upon. Miss Burt is now playing nu-
merous dates.
At the Senators' banquet last week at the
Ten Eyck Hotel, Albany, N. Y., Jos. P. Mc-
Natti, the sweet baritone singer, made a tre-
mendous hit singing "He Laid Away a Suit
of Gray," all the Senators joining him in the
chorus.
The popular baritone, George Betts, now
on the Proctor Circuit, is scoring immensely
with "O Golden Land of Peace," "Until
Then," and "In the Valley of Kentucky."
LARK1NS AND PATTERSON.
A clever team of colored comedians who
have been making quite a hit around New
York this season are Larkins and Patterson.
They sing- well, and the original comedy
in their act never fails to win applause.
That they select the best songs obtainable
for their act shows their good sense and
judgment accordingly.
They are singing "Just Kiss Yourself
Goodbye," "Josephine, My Jo," "While the
