THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
A CARPENTER " T A L K . "
LOOK AND LISTEN
From the Carpenter Co., Brattleboro, V t ,
we are in receipt of an uniquely designed
folder containing illustrations of two of their
latest styles—cases 134 and 159, five or six
octaves. The literary matter in relation
thereto, which is within covers of red and
gold, is as follows:
DOING ONE THING WELL.
HE natives of the Orient have a saying, " Be-
ware of the man of One Book." The mean-
ing is that he who has made a life study of
one particular thing must be regarded as wiser on
that subject than other men.
The Carpenter Company is a " O n e Book"
concern.
Our one subject—our life study—is the Organ,
For fifty-one years, over half a century, we
have worked and planned and thought about Or-
gans. We have made nothing but Organs—we
have stuck to our " O n e Book."
Our aim has been Perfection.
We have not reached perfection. It is rarely
attained. But we have reasons for believing that
Carpenter Organs are nearest to the ideal instru-
ment.
Our reasons for believing this are, first, be-
cause of the great and steadily increasing demand
for our instruments. More Carpenter Organs are
sold to-day than ever before. Secondly, because
we know what constitutes organ value, and we
know that the Carpenter is the best. We have
studied organs for many years, we have seen, in-
spected and tried all the principal makes of organs
on the market. We know that there are features
about the Carpenter Organ which make it the
leader.
You will find it exceedingly profitable to sell
these instruments.
Trade conditions make it practically an abso-
lute certainty that more organs will be sold next
season than ever before.
You will probably handle some make of organ.
Your good judgment will naturally urge you to
handle the best. You cannot afford to risk your
good reputation on poor goods of any kind.
You cannot possibly handle a more satisfac-
tory instrument than the Carpenter.
They are the embodiment of everything most
desirable in tone, construction and action.
Our lowest cash prices allow you a very attrac-
tive margin of profit.
The styles illustrated are our new models,
brought out expressly for next season's trade.
As an experienced judge you can see at a
glance the trade winning qualities of these beauti-
ful instruments.
We want one live, progressive, up-to-date
dealer in each community to handle our organs.
The interests of every dealer taking the agency
for our instruments will be well protected. We
have never sold an instrument to a catalogue house.
We never will. Quality considered, Carpenter
Organs are lowest in price.
We want you to order one of these instru-
ments as a sample. Inspect it, compare it with
others, show it to your customers. We know that
it will fulfill our claims in every respect. If it
does, you cannot afford to lose the agency.
Our catalogue shows other styles. We would
be very glad to send you a copy and quote prices
on request.
