CHANGES, ETC.
One of the latest styles of Russell pianos which has won quite a vogue in the trade
is that pictured herewith. The architectural scheme is semi-colonial, and it presents a
very pleasing appearance. It must be seen, however, on the fl jor to be properly ap-
preciated. The Russell-Lane Co. have been making steady progress during the past
year without much bluster or brag. Their factory in Chicago—a spacious one at that—
has been working full time, full force, and they started out with a goodly book of or-
ders for the new year.

Representative Products,
At the Pease retail piano warerooms,
Forty-second street, near Sixth avenue,
there are now on exhibition, in addition to
a number of other typical Pease instru-
ments, several examples of the latest
"Popular Pease" uprights, styles " S " and
"C."
They are, without doubt, thoroughly
representative Pease products.
That
means much. It means, for one thing,
stability, solid worth in the shape of ex-
cellent material, properly used by men
who have years of experience behind them.
It also means tone, responsive touch, cor-
rect architectural proportions and artistic
style. Altogether, it means a good piano.
