Henry Spies and his colleagues are re-
joicing over the fact that their efforts to
advance the interests of the "Majestic"
piano since its introduction are now bear-
ing palatable fruit in the shape of inqui-
ries from those from whom responses had
not been previously received, followed by
orders for prompt delivery. Dealers re-
port that every "Majestic" sold means two
good "prospects."
H. Paul Mehlin, in a talk with The Re-
view on Wednesday, declared that he
could hardly wish for a better prospect
than now presents itself. "On all sides and
from every quarter we hear good reports,"
said he. "Our agents predict a good Meh-
lin season and are preparing for it. We
are very busy at the factory."
In connection with C. Jancke & Co.'s
loss at Galveston, Tex., which, by the
way, was a total one, the Cable Co., whose
goods they represented, wired, as soon as
connections could be made, for them to
draw as much money and instruments as
was necessary to get their business started
anew. This generous and thoughtful of-
fer speaks volumes for the big-heartedness
of the enterprising Chicago firm.
Dusinberre & Co. find their new styles
exactly suited to the wants of their pa-
trons, who have, in a number of instances,
duplicated orders.
C. H. Hoag, of Newton, Kan., has
opened up a new establishment at 424 Main
street, with a fine line of pianos and
organs.
