The nature of this invention consists in
a mechanism for transmitting the move-
ment of the key of an organ or like musi-
cal instrument to the valve or valves of the

flue pipe or pipes or of the reed cell or cells,
by which a more simple and more efficient
connection of the keys with the valves is
obtained than heretofore.
Music Leaf Turner. Joseph Wolf, New
Brighton, Pa. Patent No. 657,846.
This invention relates to music-leaf
turners; and the object of the same is to
provide a device of this character which
will combine the several advantages of
simplicity, efficiency, and durability. By
the use of this improved turner the music
may be readily turned one leaf at a time
in either direction without touching and
thereby soiling it.
Mechanical Musical Instrument. Henry
Muller, Wahren, Ger., assignor to the Poly-
phon, Werke. Patent No. 657,560.
The present invention relates to that
class of mechanical musical instruments in
which the effect of the violin tone is pro-
duced by a moving endless band, onto
which the strings are pressed by mechani-
cal means by the aid of a note disc sheet or
£he like.
George A. Vossler & Sons, who recently
moved to large and attractive quarters at
350 Main street, Poughkeepsie, N. Y., are
making a magnificent display in their show-
rooms of Chickering, Weber, Everett,
Estey, Bradbury, Prescott, Harvard, Web-
ster, A. B. Cameron and Brambach pianos.
Emil Gram and George Gerber made ex-
hibits of pianos at the Jahrmarkt (harvest
display), which was held in Milwaukee,
Wis., last week.
