Behning ** Words of Praise."
In connection with the little book entit-
led "Words of Praise" issued by the
Behning Piano Co., containing some thirty
pages of testimonials from leading dealers
and purchasers, the following opening re-
marks are timely "because they define the
Behning position briefly but comprehen-
sively :
" It is not'surprising when we consider
the length of time the Behning piano has
been before the public, and its thousands
of purchasers, throughout this broad land,
that its manufacturers are in constant re-
ceipt of eulogistic letters from enthusiastic
purchasers. It is possible only to repro-
duce a very limited number, and the few
communications which we herewith pre-
sent, will serve to show to the intending
purchaser the strong esteem in which the
Behning piano is held both by dealers
through the land, and the purchasing pub-
lic as well.
'' A point worthy of consideration in pur-
chasing a piano is the age of the institution
which produces the instruments. The
Behning Piano is one of the oldest in
America. It has been made from its very
inception by practical men, skilled in the
art of piano making, and the men in con-
trol of the company to-day are Behnings of
the second generation who have been
reared as practical piano makers; therefore
every purchaser of a Behning Piano may
have the intense satisfaction of knowing
that he is receiving the full benefit which
comes from years of study—investigation
and practice in a special industry."
