THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
The Braumuller Co.
THE
The Stultz & Bauer Parlor Grand.
"BRAUMULLER
IN DEMAND—A BUSY
JANUARY—RECENT IMPROVEMENTS
IN THE INSTRUMENT.
Honest endeavor, followed by successful
achievement, calls for congratulation. It
is so with the Braumuller Co. of this city.
They undoubtedly make a good piano, the
name and fame of which is rapidly grow-
ing. The firm are alert and carefully study
the requirements of their customers, and
although constant improvements are being
made, some in a greater and some in a less
degree, price is kept down as low as is con-
sistent with good material, good workman-
ship, and general excellence of production.
Although the Braumuller pianos are
handled by some of the most responsible
dealers in the country, M. Steinert & Sons
Co., of New Haven, Conn., Providence,
R. I., and Boston, Mass., etc., and Jesse
French Co., Nashville,Tenn., and St. Louis,
Mo., etc., they are perhaps not so widely
known throughout this country as they de-
serve to be, and as they undoubtedly will
be in the course of time.
"Absolutely first class" is the trade
motto of this enterprising house, and they
live up to their claims in a manner that
calls for congratulation.
Not only are the Braumuller pianos
artistic in appearance, possessing tonal
qualities of marked excellence, but the
instruments embody special attributes in
their construction that are worthy of com-
ment. Their new harmonic scale is re-
markably even and possesses certain char-
acteristics of unique excellence. Their
tuning pin support is worthy of notice, the
patent tone deflector is a really valuable
invention and their automatic desk swing
is both useful and ornate.
The Wessell, Nickel & Gross action is
used exclusively in the Braumuller pianos,
thereby ensuring a faultless touch.
The present year opened up well with
the Braumuller Co., the month of January
being one of the best business months in
the history of the house. Dealers who
handle the Braumuller can congratulate
themselves that they control a good seller
and those who are not familiar with the
instruments would do well to place them-
selves in communication with the house.
In so doing one thing is assured, they will
receive the best kind of treatment and if
negotiations terminate satisfactorily the
new Braumuller agent can rest assured that
he not only secures a splendid seller, but is
backed by a house of integrity who will
support him loyally and in every possible
way cater to his wishes and requirements.
Stultz & Bauer, 338-40 East Thirty-first
street, this city, are the manufacturers of
some admirable pianos, not alone in the
line of uprights but of grands as well.
Their latest styles of uprights, Nos. 6 and
7 especially, are pleasing examples of up-
to-date piano architecture, while their
parlor grand, an illustration of which we
present herewith, is also a model of good
taste. A critical examination will reveal a
consistency of proportion in all its p a r t s -
legs, lyre, mouldings and carving being in
harmony. The tonal quality of this piano
has been pronounced especially excellent
by competent judges, while it fulfills expec-
tations as to reliability of construction and
perfection of finish. This style is overstrung
with patent repeating action, patent
agraffe arrangement and sostenuto pedal.
It is 6 feet 1 inch in length, 4 feet 10
inches wide, and is made in mahogany,
walnut, English oak and other fancy
woods. The Stultz & Bauer parlor grand
is a trade winner.
