Reaching Out for Business.
THE ERD PIANO FACTORY NOW HAS SALES-
ROOMS IN BAY CITY.
T
Agencies will be established in other
Michigan cities as soon as the output of the
Erd factories can be increased sufficiently
to keep pace with the growth in business
that would naturally result from such a plan
of action. Mr. Erd has reserved the whole
of Michigan as the territory to be handled
exclusively by the factory, hence the neces-
sity of the numerous agencies. The Erd
factory is now supplying instruments to
dealers in many States. — Saginaw News,
April 26.
HE large number of Erd pianos sold in
Bay City, and the constantly increas-
ing business in that territory, has made it
necessary for Mr. Erd to establish sales-
rooms at that point. A handsome store has
been secured at the foot of Center street,
and stocked with a complete line of Erd
grand and upright pianos and the Erd harps.
A Profitab e Industry.
Pianos of a cheaper grade are also handled.
The new warerooms are in charge of Mr.
Edward Moran, who has been connected

prietor, said Friday morning that so many
orders are received that the factory will
not shut down this summer, as has usually
been necessary. One firm on Chambers
street, New York, for which Mr. Smith has
been making jewsharps fourteen years, is
taking all of a certain kind that the factory
is able to turn out. Orders have recently
been received from Minneapolis and other
Western cities. Mr. Smith has been obliged
to increase his force.—Troy Times, April
