THE stockholders of the Volta Grapho-
phone Co., Washington, D. C., held meet-
ing last week and completed an organiza-
tion by retiring all the old officers and
directors. A new Board of Directors was
elected as follows: Edward D. Eastern,
Andrew Devine, Wm. Herbert Smith, R.
F. Cromelin, Frank Dorian, B. A. Budlong
and William E. Bond.
Officers were
elected as follows: President, Edward D.
Eastern; vice-president, Andrew Devine;
treasurer, Frank Dorian; secretary, H. S.
Budlong. The re-organization of this com-
pany completes the general plan of the
American Graphophone Co. for the control
of the talking machine business.
F. BECHTEL, of Pittsburg, Pa., has se-
cured the agency for the Blasius piano,
which he will handle as a leader.
DAVID H. SCHMIDT, piano hammer cov-
erer, \ 63d street and Melrose avenue, has
been making a trip through upper New
York. Business at the Schmidt factory is
entirely satisfactory.
W. J. BELL, formerly connected with the
Bell Organ and Piano Co., is now president
of a Chicago company making a specialty
of patent medicines.
THE Strascino Piano Co. have opened
retail quarters at 436 Main street, Fond du
Lac, Wis.
O'CONOR & CAMPBELL, of Sault St. Marie,
Mich., have dissolved partnership. Mr.
Campbell has purchased Mr. O'Conor's in-
terest, and will carry on the business.
HARRY ROBELEN & Co. have secured the
agency for the J. & C. Fischer pianos for
