business at this the close of the first year.
The demand for the Krell pianos has ex-
ceeded his expectations in fact, the retail
trade was 50 per cent, larger than was ex-
pected.

are as busy as can be, and a visit would con-
vince any one that the Spring outlook is
bright. Piano manufacturers don't usually
place orders unless they anticipate a good de-
mand for pianos, and judging from the num-
ber of orders on hand to be filled, the Spring
output of pianos will contain many of the
requisites turned out by Comstock, Cheney
& Co.

URING Xiihum Stetson's recent trip
West, according to The Indicator, lie
met with a very annoying, if not serious, ac-
cident. It seems lie took hold of the frame
of a door of one of the cars to steady him-
self while the train was going around a curve,
but the train lurched so that the heavy door
shut, and severely crushed Mr. Stetson's
thumb. During his stay in the West he was
compelled to carry his hand in a sling.

dent.
HE annual meeting of the Waterloo
Organ Company, Waterloo, N. V.,
was held yesterday, and the present direc-
tors and officers were re-elected. The busi-
ness policy for the coming year was decided
upon. It can be added that the year 1895
will witness a growth in the business of
this house, resulting as a matter of course
in the enlargement of their plant.
