THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW.
Wegman piano. Members of the trade who
are not acquainted with this instrument
should immediately send for one of these
catalogues. They may find it of benefit.
The "Steck" Catalogue.
T
HE new catalogue issued by George
Steck & Co., is not only a very hand-
some publication typographically, but it
contains reading matter of value and in-
terest to the trade. The opinions of cele-
brated virtuosi, judges of exhibits at inter-
national exhibitions in Europe and the
TTnited States, music teachers, leading-
dealers, and a formidable list of admirers
of the Steck for over a quarter of a cen-
tury, all go to show the steady giowth in
appreciation of the Steck pianos, and its
place to-day in the affections of the musical
public is well demonstrated in the remark-
able[]success of the new scale Steck piano
with the "self-supporting independent iron
frame." Many of these opinions have been
compiled in this catalogue, and should be
read by dealers or others interested in
pianos. Excellent cuts of the several styles
of Steck instruments, and many facts of
value to intending purchasers, also appear.
This well-written and dignified catalogue
is a credit to the house of George Steck &
Co.

Hos. 171 and 173 South Canal Street,
HE Wegman Piano Co., Auburn, N.V.,
have sent us a new catalogue of the
latest styles of pianos manufactured by
them. They are undoubtedly very hand-
some instruments, and their popularity is not
to be wondered at. They contain the many
improvements originated and applied by
this firm, the marked value of which were
emphasized in the award received at the
World's Fair. Some of these improvements
in the field of stringing and tuning are il-
lustrated and described, and the many let-
ters published from dealers and musicians
speak eloquently of their value. The new
catalogue is neatly printed and gotten up,
and should make many new.friends for the

A high-grade piano costs more
than an instrument which is in
that class known as "medium,"
but what a satisfaction to sell a
high-grade piano, and how pleasant
to meet the customer and friends af-
ter the sale is made, particularly if it is a
SOMK persons musically inclined entered
the Medina, O., Court House recently and
stole an organ stored there by the sheriff.
Thus we note the growth of musical cul-
ture in the West.

It is admitted by all that no piano ever put upon the
market has met with such success as THE STERLING,
and thousands will testify to their superiority of work-
manship and durability. Why ? Because they are made
just as perfect as a piano can be made.
THE STERLING ORGAN has always taken the lead, and
the improvements made this year puts it far ahead of
all others. |^"Send for Catalogue.
