MR. WILLIAM LEIGH, the respected father of
the manager of the retail department of J. & C.
Fischer, of this city, died recently at his home
at Bridgport, Conn., aged 75 years. Mr. Leigh
was born in England, but came to this country
early in life. He was in the piano business
some years ago.

THE Worcester Spy says : The piano factory
property at Westboro, in possession of J. A.
Trowbridge, has been sold to the Densmore-Yost
Company, late purchasers of the bicycle plant,
presumably for their carriage works, as the fac-
tory building is well adapted for that business.
