N. H., has been organized with a capital of
$10,000. The company is to devote itself to
the manufacture of piano key boards.
THE Spofford Manufacturing Co., Lowell,
Mass., manufacturers of piano stools, have as-
signed.
S. R. LELAND&SONS, Worcester, Mass., have
on exhibition in a window of their music store
a Chickering piano made in 1823, which was
the sixth piano manufactured in this country.
Two violins valued at $150 were stolen from
the store of C. H. Ditson, 867 Broadway, New
York, N. Y., music dealers, by Donald Batter-
son, of 469 W. 426. street. He has been arrested
and arraigned in $2,000 bail at Jefferson Market
Police Court. The instruments were recovered.
