JOHN LABAGH, senior member of the once
well known New York organ building firm of
Labagh. & Kemp, died on July 13th at Hacken-
sack, N. J. He was 82 years old.
MR.
F R A N K W. THOMAS, the popular music
dealer at 15 North Pearl street, Albany, N. Y.,
has secured the agency for the sale of the Knabe
pianos.
MRS. LAURA OSLER W O O D , until recently em-
ployed as cashier by C. J. Heppe & Co., piano
dealers of Chestnut street, Philadelphia Pa., is
charged by Mr. Heppe with misappropriating
$200 of said firm's money. Mrs. Wood was ar-
raigned to appear before Magistrate Ladner on
June 30th, but owing to the defendant's illness
hearing was postponed until July 7th.
T H E Wilcox & White Organ Co., of Meriden,
Conn., have recently secured the services of
William Sweeney as Eastern traveling sales-
T H E First M. E. Society of Bluffton, Ind., are
improving their edifice and will purchase a new
pipe organ.
