This machine would have started its life working on the old I O Pfennig coin , and just
like a lot of ex German machines, it had been converted to old penny play when it was
exported to the UK. This suited me, as I like to try and keep all my machines working
on old penny play.
The first thing I did was to photograph the machine as I stripped it down. I then
set to restoring the wooden cabinet, which was in quite a state through years of abuse
and bad storage, but I am happy to report that NO woodworm were found to be in
residence. Once I was happy with the cabinet I made a start on the electro-mechanical
mechanism .
