As a collector of such longevity, there's not much Maurice doesn't know about the
machines we all collect, and I know many who have benefited from the vast knowledge
he has gained over the years. His passion and enthusiasm for our hobby has not waned or
diminished, and in retirement Maurice intends to occupy himself with the jobs that most
ofus never get around to completing, or even starting - 'projects'!. Maurice has amassed
a good number of restoration jobs over the years, and whilst Pat enjoys the Cyprus sun,
Maurice will finally have the opportunity to bring some rare and interesting machines
back to their former glory. Although Maurice has had to sell much of his collection
recently, a number of his favourite machines will be leaving with him, and as the projects
come back to life one by one, Maurice and Pat will once again see a fine collection
emerge in their new home.
I know we will all miss Maurice and Pat, although hopefully they will have the
chance to visit occasionally. But I'm sure we all wish them both a very happy
retirement and the very best of luck for the future.
Two more restoration jobs, a rare Handan-Ni British Bulldog
and an extremely interesting B.M.Co machine, thought to be unique.
