At 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 18, 1974, at the Strata Shopping Centre in Sydney, Australia, for the benefit of the
Spastic Centre of New South Wales, Australia, Ted Liguz and Harvey Jones established a 27t hours world's record for
continuous pinball play. The above picture (left to right) shows Lynnette Mielczarek, a candidate for the title of
"Mias Australia" who represented the new Spastic Centre, Peter Honeyfield of Guinness of London where the record
will be inscribed and the two players, Ted Liguz and Harvey Jones. (L. H. Wakefield, marketing manager of Leisure
