Joe Silla, president of the California Music Merchants Association, shown above presenting
a retirement plaque to George A. Miller, former Executive Director of CMMA, vho retired as
of July 1, 1974. This presentation took place at a luncheon at the Sea Wolf Restaurant on
Tuesday, June 24, 1974.
All who attended the luncheon were high in their praise of George A. Miller and his many
marvelous accomplishments for CMKA over the many years he has been its Executive Director.
Many also recalled his accom~lisbments for all the nation's music operators when he was the
very first president of MO~ {Music Operators of America).
George A. Miller stated, "Even tho I retired as of July 1 from the California Music Mer-
chants Association, I will still assist in ta:x problems or legislative problems that con-
front the industry, both statewide and nationally. This industry will always be a part of
me and I'll always remember the assistance so many good friends ga•e us."

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
