The "Federation of Coin Machine Industry Associations Within the EEC" (European Economic
Community) was founded in Rome, Italy, this past month on the 10th anniversary of SAFAR
(Sezioni Appa.rechi Per Pubbliche Attrazioni Ricreative). Besides SAFAR other founding
members are the "Federation Francaise Des Exploitants Et Commercants De L'Automatique "
(FFECA) as well as the Verband Der Deutschen Automatenindustrie" (VDAI). Coin machine in-
dustry associations from countries belonging to or associated with the EEC insofar as they
represent the purely professional interests of their members on a national basis will be
admitted to membership in the "Federation". The object of the "Federation" is to take care
of the common market interests of its members. Any economic or commercial activities are
excluded.
