TROPHY
Bell-Fruit's exciting new AWP, Trophy, has many
features which should ensure a long and successful life. There
is a new style cabinet with large full width display panel
including credit meter on front opening top door - easy
access to rejectors and coin tubes. It accepts 10p and 50p
coins by Series 10 and Electronic E15 rejectors respectively.
50p gives 40p change and one game. Other features include:
• Full width pay tray • Large cash box raised above floor -
meters clearly visible mounted inside door • New reel
mechanism. New 24 stop modular reel mechanism - each
reel mounted in a separate unit driven by an individual stepper
motor. Complete electronic control • Sounds . 5" diameter
loud speaker transmits a variety of sounds connected with
game features • Hold feature. Random hold after both losing
and winning games • Nudge feature. The "Cup" and
"Rosette" symbols illuminate a corresponding panel when
appearing on the win line - if all three panels of a particular
symbol are illuminated after a game the nudge feature starts.
This feature may also start at random. If the number is less
than five the nudges may be gambled and reels may be
nudged in either direction until the total number of nudges has
been used • Gamble feature. Wins may be gambled in
succession up to a maximum of £2 .00. and wins of 40p and
above are gambled on a " no-lose" basis and successful
gambles may be collected at any stage • Microprocessor

Exidy, Inc. recently released Venture, their newest
innovation in video games. Venture game play begins in a
hallway of a multi-levelled dungeon. The player appearing on
the screen as Winky chooses one of four chambers to enter,
to avoid confrontation with the Hallmonsters. Each room
contains r.1 treasure (such as a pot of gold, a diamond , a
damsel in distress, Winkette herself) guarded by three or more
threatening creatures (such as goblins, serpents or spiders) .
The player must out-manoeuvre or shoot the creatures to
obtain the treasure. Points are awarded for hitting creatures,
and obtaining treasures. The less time it takes the player to
collect a level's treasures, the more bonus points are awarded .
The player must collect all the treasures from a level before
descending to the next.
Venture features a new Micro-synthesizer Audio System
with original soundtrack and special sound effects , a left or
right-handed fire button , new 8-position i?ystick, i~ternational
graphics, multi-lingual instruction:> (English , Spanish , French
or German) . Selectable options on Venture incl ude Top
Today's High Score, coins per play, international coin types,
language selection , number of turns per player, and the
amount of bonus.
