Dear Julian,
Welcome to the ranks ofThe Coin Slot readers and to our
growing ranks of overseas readers. Thanks also or your
orderfor the "100 Most Collectible Slots... Volume 3 " and
the Wallace-Homestead price guide The books are on the
EAGLE (serial 273,795), a gold-typefinish WAR EAGLE
is super interesting history. Your serials werepassed to Dick
Bueschelfor coverage in his SerialNumber Update and he'll
have some interesting information about them.
Asfor values on these machines, as you'll see in your copy
of "An Illustrated Price Guide to the 100 Most Collectible
Slot Machines, Volume 3" foreign models of American
machines pay a penalty in value. But that's at the present
time. As collectors begin to understand the value and
uniqueness oftheforeign-coin models ofAmerican machines,
we'llprobably see quite ajump in value. And your machines
are certainly unique.
Thanks for writing.
