Dear Pappy.
I certainly want to say how much I enjoy your column.
Keep up the good work.
This picture I'm sending you is of something called
RAINBOW. Can you tell me who made it, and how much
it's worth?

Dear O.D.J.:
What you have is a very unusual example of a Five
Jacks machine. It is indeed called the RAINBOW and
bought it at an auction many years ago and am now
was manufactured by Jennings of Chicago in about
1935. It has a value of around $1,200.00 on today's
considering selling it. What is the best way to go about
selling it, and how much should I ask?
market.
Dear Pappy:
Please help! I have absolutely no ideas about this
machine at all. Who made it, when it was made, or how
much it's worth. It has "Good Luck" on the front and
also a"W" with a circle around it. Could it be a Watling?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Dear P.C.B.:
You have my favorite three reel slot machine. If there
is one that I would want in my home, that's it! It's called
a SUPERIOR and was made by Caille Bros, out of
Detroit around 1925.
Collectors today have nicknamed itthe"Nude Front"
in honor of the young lady on the front of the machine.
An option, which was available but is not on your
machine, is a skill button to the left of the front panel.
I think the best way to go about selling your machine
is through a classified or display ad in The Coin Slot.
Asking price should probably be around $3,000.

I just bought a Buckley slot machine. I had never
