lot of interesting stuff. Whereto begin? Mills, of course,
because that's what most collectors have. And we'll
take it from the top of the listed serials.
That 1923 COUNTER O.K. model of the "Owl" cabinet
Mills Bell has been revamped. Now it carries a Rock-
Ola jackpot. The machine is serial 87,981, which is
really upgrading an old-fashioned model.
Moving on down the line you'll see some interesting
model names for various WAR EAGLE models, and
therein lies a tale. To back up a bit It is known from old
Mills Novelty records, interviews with Mills people and
the advertising in The Billboard that Mills Novelty
Company made a number of wartime revamps to keep
