Dear Editor,

to information of 3 old slot's I have — one is a Berger
made in Chicago 1890 — one is a Caille Puritan Bell
with numbers and token vender. The other is a Jenning's
As for the token vending PURITAN, that's a Caille
Bros, exclusive. They made the only payout PURITAN,
with a pair of Jack's on the front — made by Roberts

Dear Rodger,
Thanks for the photos, and here's what we can come
up with. Your Berger is the OOM PAUL, made around
1902. Your serial of No. 764 fits the time frame. This
machine is described in detail, and illustrated, in the

and it'll be covered in detail in Coin Slot Guide No. 73.
Your "Patented Jan. 17, 1922" Jennings is the Jennings
1927 OPERATOR BELL "Dutch Boy" with a Roberts
Novelty jackpot front. The Roberts front was sold as a
separate item so that operators could upgrade their Bells
to jackpot models. This variation is also covered in the
upcoming Vol. 3 "100 Slots" and will be covered in detail
in Coin Slot Guide No. 70.
So we've got printed material on all of these, but you'll
have to wait a little longer for some than for others.
